Back to School... ALREADY?!

We had an AMAZING time at the 16th Faded & Educated Back to School Free Haircut Day!! There were 32 Barbers and 9 hairstylists who gave over 360 haircuts and hairstyles to the children before school started! There were a countless amount of school uniforms, school supplies and backpacks given to the children. For entertainment, the children were able to enjoy the Animal Petting Zoo, carnival games, moon-bounces and a water dunk tank.

It felt amazing to be in the presence of so many barbers, stylists, volunteers, other sponsors, food trucks, and organizations who donated their time, talents, efforts, and passion for an amazing cause. The owner, Henry Talley, stated: “Creating a culture of helping each other is what the event is about. It’s about giving people the platform and opportunity to do their part.” 

And, that’s exactly what he accomplished on this day! We look forward to working with them again next year!
