Back to School Drive: Vibes and Supplies

Its August, which means back to school, the kids will go!! Selfless Hands Foundation was able to collect some supplies. Selfless Hands Foundation and Black Leadership Network partnered together to plan the event “Vibes and Supplies” to collect donations of school supplies as well as backpacks. The event took place at Cafe Do’ Brazil at 440 NW 11th St #100, Oklahoma City, OK 73103, on the rooftop bar, Bossa Nova. Attendees enjoyed fresh fruit cocktails and delicious appetizers and small plates inspired by the beautiful country, Brazil. Attendees also enjoyed an intense game of Jenga, song covers played by a Harpist, and lots of networking.

We received over 30 packs of wide and college ruled paper, 15 packs of No. 2 pencils, 30 packs of crayons, and 15 backpacks. These donations and supplies will be given away at our next event Faded and Educated. This community event is open to the public where free food, free haircuts, school supplies and uniforms will be given to all who attend.
