It's essential to recognize that hunger disproportionately affects Black communities, a result of discriminatory policies and economic challenges that have left many vulnerable. According to the USDA, nearly 25% of Black individuals in Oklahoma experienced food insecurity in 2021, almost three times the rate of their white counterparts.

Amidst these challenges, there is hope. Selfless Hands Foundation is at the forefront of organizations making a significant difference. Our mission is clear: to combat hunger and provide support to those in need. We achieve this through our Blessing Boxes strategically placed throughout Northeast Oklahoma City, offering non-perishable food, toiletries, and essential items.
